Holding a Masters in Marketing and an MBA in Hotel Management from ESG Business School Paris, Mehdi Belabbes has acquired both operational and strategic skills thanks to his professional experiences in France and abroad. In early 2016, he joined Horwath HTL France where he worked on hotel market and feasibility studies in the Sub-Saharan Africa and Maghreb regions. He has extensive experience in market and feasibility studies and has developed specific skills in hotel development strategies, as well as programming for urban projects and resorts. He has a thorough understanding of all the stages involved in the creation of a hotel project, from initial study through to pre-operational phase, for both public and private projects.
In 2020, Horwath HTL France became Voltere (Egis Group). Dividing his time between Abidjan and Paris, Mehdi Belabbes is now in charge of supervision and production of studies in North, West and Central Africa as well as Voltere development in the region. He has a deep understanding of the local issues and challenges.
