    Sustainable Tourism



    A graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po), with a Masters in Urban and Territorial Policies, Clémence began her career in business tourism as a marketing coordinator at an events organisation company. Having joined Horwath HTL France in 2016, Clémence worked primarily on market and feasibility studies in the tourism and leisure sector. In 2018, she took over as head of the Abidjan regional office, where she was responsible for the development of Horwath HTL hospitality, tourism and leisure activities in West and Central Africa. In 2020, Horwath HTL France became Voltere (member of the Egis Group), and Clémence Derycke has taken over management of the new Transition Department, which supervises studies that focus on responsible tourism. A specialist in market and feasibility studies, she has implemented development strategies for tourist areas in France and abroad, particularly in Senegal. She also has experience in project management assistance, operational consulting for operator search and hotel feasibility (hotel and leisure). Clémence Derycke has been invited to speak at various conferences in French-speaking Africa (FIHA, CITHA and Francoreal). She co-organised the CITHA conference (Conference on Tourism and Hotel Investment in Africa) with Proparco and the Radisson Hotel Group in Abidjan on two occasions.
